Suggaa

The brief

A ride-hailing platform starting from nothing — no design language, no component library, no team. Three surfaces had to ship in lockstep: an app for riders, an app for drivers, and a console for operators. They needed to feel like one product, scale city by city, and be built fast.

I owned design end to end, and the marketing that put it on the road.

What I did

• Design system from scratch. Type, color, spacing, iconography, and components — one source of truth across all three products.
• Rider app. Booking, tracking, payments and support — designed for first-time users in new cities.
• Driver app. Earnings, navigation and trip flow, built for drivers using it all day on low-end devices.
• Operator console. The back office that kept the network running.
• Built the team. Hired and led the design and development team from the ground up.
• Took it to market. Launched city by city with on-ground events and press.

Outcome

The product reached 25,000+ users. The design system meant new features and new cities shipped without the experience drifting — one operator, end to end, from blank canvas to product on the road.
